Meet the Authors
The Blair Girl Squad created the story for Princess Pippa & the Crown of Kindness together, inspired by conversations between Elizabeth, Kate, and Heidi during Elizabeth’s journey through cancer. The story also blends real parts of their lives, like the girls’ sparkling charity work and activities as well as hilarious and heartfelt details about their home and family.
From the shared belief that true beauty comes from within to committing to help each other make lemonade when life provides lemons, get to know the family behind this rainbow-filled book!
Meet Pippa
The real life Princess Pippa
Pippa is starting kindergarten and enjoys doing weekly gymnastics and ballet classes. She loves reading books, coloring pictures, hosting lemonade stands in her front yard, and helping her big sisters any chance she gets. She also loves playing with her two dogs, Ginger and Rainbow. Wrestling with her big brother Bryce and playing pinball with her daddy are two of her favorite past times. She wants to be a princess ballerina when she grows up and understands no matter what your age, one person can make a difference in this world.

Meet Elizabeth
Elizabeth is going into 8th grade and loves being involved with her middle school theatre program. She plays the piano and ukulele and really enjoys singing and acting. At the age of five, Elizabeth was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Today, she remains 7 years in remission and pediatric cancer free. She was the 2018-2019 Hyundai Hope on Wheels National Youth Ambassador and has traveled the country to hospitals coast to coast helping to bring hope to childhood cancer patients currently going through treatment. She continues to lobby and address Congress in Washington D.C. each year in hopes for more research for childhood cancer. She now understands beauty comes from the heart.
